Book Design Brief for essay “Black on Black” by Eugene Thacker.
The cover of the book was hand painted and the text hand drawn to give the cover a sense of texture to the reader, much like the textures of the art described within.
The paintings that accompany the text were hand painted and edited into place too follow along with the books layout using specially made a grid system.
