Elmwood Design Brief, Part 1 - Logo and Promotional Material

The brief was to create graphic material for fictional reality were interstellar travel is the norm today. Exowave comes from the words ‘Exoplanet’ and ‘wave’ whereby the exoplanet is the orbiting of a star outside of our solar system. The “exo” prefix means “outside” in Greek as the interstellar travel is intended to take you out of the world. ‘Wave’ comes from the term ‘Gravitational Wave’ due to the transport of energy. The use of the word ‘Voyages’ is due to its meaning used to describe a long exciting journey. Not to mention the term is usually associated with space travel.
-The design of the Logo combines both the ‘E’ and the ‘V’ from the brands name. The use of the joined E and V create the look of a wing, most commonly used in airline branding.
-The Colour of the logo is also inter- changable so it can be used on multiple medias and colours. It is not restricted.
