As part of the Brand Design team at Avanti West Coast, I played a key role in the creative direction and development of a new train livery celebrating diversity and inclusion across our network. I was involved in the selection of the artist and worked closely with our external branding agency to guide the visual evolution of the design. My responsibilities also included advising on how the artwork would be applied to the train, carefully balancing creative impact with strict safety and operational requirements.

The livery was recently unveiled (March 2025) for early viewing, gaining media coverage, ahead of its official launch into passenger service in August 2025. Seeing the train come to life and standing alongside the team and artist during the unveiling was a proud and memorable moment in the project’s journey.
